Roberto Martinez documentary

I cannot wait for this.

Would prefer to see him at Newscastle now, stifle any of their progression thoughts !
Roberto isn't bothered about cash per se than players already at a club. He had to create a team here when he arrived - those players thought the ball was a hand grenade they had to get shut of ASAP rather thean be comfortale on it. Newcastle would be a massive restructuring again. Barcelona would be his job. His system. They demand possession and he'd slot right in and he'd do a damn sight better than that Dutch tit.

Barcelona demand winning Dave, you wouldn’t be able to spin finishing 3rd in the league and getting to the Champions League quarter finals as an achievement.

There's only an embittered group of Evertonians who feel the way about Martinez as you do. The rest of football can barely remember his time here, and if they do it's to recognise that he had us winning record numbers of points and getting us to a couple of SFs...and that's what I'd remeber looking on as a neutral if I didn't follow Everton.

He's a cup winner and an international manager with a lot of respect. The fact that you cant see that would be a step up from Koemageddon says more about you.

Absolutely no one in the world outside of our fanbase remembers or cares how many points Martinez’s Everton got when finishing 5th in 2014. I’d be willing to bet no Barca fan on earth knows what a Wigan is either. They’re appointing a second failed international manager who’s finished mid table a few times in his career as far as they’re concerned.

Some recent former manager pedigree of Barcelona managers before taking charge of the Catalans:

Rijkard - Sparta Rotterdam
Pep - Barcelona B
Vilanova - Palafrugell, Barcelona B
Setien - Las Palmas, Betis

...but you dont think a manager of Premier League clubs and the best Belgian manager of all time would be considered.

Unreal.
