Roberto Martinez discussion

As frustrating as the past 4 games have been, and as worrying it is that it seems Martinez isn't going to bring the success we hoped for, 6 points over next weekend would certainly help transform the mood

For the fourth game in a row, I feel totally frustrated with this Everton team and the manager. I really don't get this attitude that we are playing dazzling football and are having no luck/have a crap keeper/are building a team for the future. We are where we deserve to be in the league. In the Capital One Cup we have beaten three lower league teams and gone through on penalties against a poor Premier League side.
The manager has to take responsibility for getting us up the table by winning some games sometime soon. He can't seem to set up a balanced team, motivate his players or manage a game through tactical or personnel changes during the course of a game.
Much to early to talk about sacking, but he has to improve by the end of the season or be prepared to explain himself at that point.
Sad, because I really like him.

We all like him but..

If by skipper you mean take the armband off Jagielka then yes.
Recently, I got castigated by esteemed MOD @Woolly Blue, for inciting potential GOT fume by taking the 'preverbial' [ @Blue Cheese 's word, not mine]. I suggest similar censure be lent to you. As I said earlier, you are hunting with hounds and running with foxes. Shtick is all good and well...but it loses traction with overuse.

Don't play the ref mate.
If we win the League Cup I fully intend to logon here and ban dave for a few days so he can't crow in this thread.

Fortunately I double read that after the initial reading produced a different result...

Just watched Martinez in the official post match presser...he's all at sea. He has no solution. Sorry @davek, he is a middling manager...nothing more nothing less. I , like you, think he has qualities. But to me, he's just a good people-manager...whereas you think he's a fabulous football manager. I don't know how much real life experience you have had in choosing managers of operation: I've had a fair bit and I suggest if you presented me with your CV toward becoming an HR specialist in my company, I wouldn't hire you.

It an amazing job that Claudio Ranieri is doing isn't it. Nothing buys experience in the end. I really like Roberto. He has some maturing to do.

Ha Ha Ha.

Honest to god mate! I know you feel that what you're saying is profound or something, but it's just embarrassing gobbledygook based on a massive knee jerk.

One loss in 9 games.

Ha Ha Ha Ha.

You've lost it.
