Roberto Martinez discussion

Martinez brought Kendall back to the club, the players well knew him, thanks to Bobby's respectful thinking.

I broadly agree we shouldn't use Howard Kendall's passing as a catch-all excuse for our poor performance today, but perspective is needed and one football match just became not all that important.
Yeah well put.
I hope the players take a good look at themselves tonight though because that was shocking today

This thread is turning horrible. Let's keep it constructive and pish off with the name calling. We are all Evertinians here and therefore entitled to our opinions.
Agree. But, we lost our greatest Evertonian today, and to suggest that didn't effect the team is utter tosh.
The news broke mid morning. No time to reflect before the game.

If we played United on Monday, under the lights, we would batter them.

Mods this really needs a thread mark! @Seamus Colemole has suggested we missed out before when Brendan Rodgers was available an thinks we need to move now before someone else 'snaps him up'.

This really does need a thread mark for posterity.

@roydo @Woolly Blue @Groucho @Dutch Toffee @the esk @micknick @chicoazul

Steady on there damon.

i like Owen Coyle myself...cracking pins on him

Woah, no need for daft suggestions like that mate. When did he ever come within a patch of oil placed on the pitch by Alex Ferguson of winning the PL.

Exactly.

Yep, let's attack the grammar, after we justify another home capitulation to the death of a man not one player in the first team squad knew, or even was on friendly terms with, straight on the back of another derby cop out. Unfortunately, some people on here are too entrenched in their ways, and beliefs, that they won't have a bad word said about the 'incredible' Martinez.
Where did I attack your grammar?

It's equally as crass accusing some on here of sullying Kendall's name because it gets in the way of disliking Martinez.

Read the posts back and take a moment for yourself.
