*Pokes head in thread*

So, anyone know what Vitor's up to at the moment then?

*Scampers off*

Joining Rangers last story I read.

Amid his expected departure from Greek giants Olympiacos where he completed the domestic double, former Porto coach Vitor Pereira is expected to take the reigns at Turkish side Fenerbahçe, which narrowly missed out on the championship.

The 43-year-old Pereira is having a tumultuous ending with Olympiacos, after numerous disagreements with the club's funding. The Portuguese coach had long been courted by Scottish side Glasgow Rangers, and had even held talks with club officials last month.

A former midfielder, Periera began his coaching career in the 2004 season in the Portuguese third division side Sanjoanese, eventually joining Porto in the 2007-2008 season.

In the 2011 season he took reigns from Andres Villas Boas who signed for Chelsea. After winning back to back championships but failing to achieve major success in Europe, Pereira joined Saudi Professional League side Al-Ahli SC, eventually taking the reigns at Olympiacos in the 2014-2015 mid-season.

Besic and Robles in the maybe?

Agree with everything else really.
Besic is a god on here, I know, but he has yet to show that he can be more than a young and enthusiastic sub. Robles has had a mixed couple of seasons, looking awful in his first season (remember Arsenal in the Cup?) but much improved last season.
Far too early to make judgements on these players so I'd say they are definite maybes.

Yeah but it doesnt make sense, he lists his positives and his negatives and says he will defo become a top player, so makes no sense to put him in the maybe, hes a wonderful footballer.

Robles has come into the side and played very well, MAYBE hes the answer to our number 1, but hes defo a decent keeper.

Still think it's unfair to label Traore a miss.

It was highly unfortunate that he got injured immediately, but he could have been good, could have been bad. We didn't see enough of him to say.

Regardless of the circumstance, he only played 2 games. How can he be anything other than a miss?

Besic is NOT a maybe. He cost 4 million quid, ffs. He's an international who has played in a World Cup, and at the very LEAST, based on his showings last season, a newly promoted club would bite our hands off for him at 4 million. The fact he's young, hungry and likely to get better, means it now looks like a no-brainer signing at that price.

Wasn't he injured when we brought him in to begin with?

Think he was just returning from injury. Played 60 mins in the Cup shortly after.

If we paid a big fee for him and he was always out with injury I'd agree. But it was a loan deal, just really unfortunate how it turned out, especially considering Lukaku got injured just before Traore did.

The only misses have been Alcarez and Kone. Traore and Atsu - how could anyone possibly judge them given limited game time?

I just have to laugh at someone like him believing he can run the rule over players and dismiss them. He's a hack who works for the Echo.
