Moyes finished 17th and ended up with 39 points which is our worst ever points total in his second full season here, and he wasn't sacked, so I think your right.

I think he has put all of his eggs in a Lukaku shapped basket and as a consequence has to tie down the oldest and the cheapest in order to bolster the squad. Big gamble that, Bobby.

There simply needs to be money there in the summer. Distin, osman, pienaar and alcaraz are all past their best and need replacing. Add atsu to that and their is 5 players that need coming in.

I imagine that no mark cleverly will be in on a free to replace osman but we still need a winger and CB coming in. I would also play barkley deeper and get sigurdsson in behind the striker

We engineered a couple of very good chances yesterday and limited city to only 2 or 3 yesterday. It's not like we've been backs to the wall with Howard bailing us out with a string of saves.

I think that we do need to increase our tempo, but as has been said to death, we haven't had our strongest 11 on the pitch yet this season and there are players not fully match sharp after their own injuries.

Good post. We are one of these teams that actually do need practically everyone fit all the time to make an impact.

I've never seen Mark Cleverly play but i wouldn't be surprised if he was still better than Tom.
