I'd be more into this moyes bashing if you bunch of bad hypocrites hadn't been rimming him at every opportunity 12 months ago, like.
Can I just put on record that I'd never rim a ginger

You asked me that before we got him as manager. I said yes then and it's another thing I look to have gotten right.
To be fair though the whole Moyes not letting Kendall even have a look around the place is disgraceful and he deserves some sh*t for it, especially as more details have only just come out about it.
Spot on that. He looks like a kid in a sweet shop.

Didn't let him in? I thought he just didn't invite him. Either way, I agree though, Kendall should be able to turn up whenever he wants, and there are plenty of things Moyes did wrong, its the rewriting to say he did nothing right that winds me up, that and the thought process that you can't appreciate both Moyes and Martinez, seemingly thinking if you like Moyes you must dislike Martinez for some reason.
Moyes is apparently bad at transfers, tactics, morale, even had responses saying he didn't improve us ffs. Davek may not like the word hate, but that's all that Moyes is receiving from a certain set of posters, well that and a rewrite of what actually happened when he was here.
7th/8th place glass ceiling ffs.
Its simply not justified, he's behaved like a massive t**t since he left us, but whilst here bar a few mistakes (Kendall not being invited to FF was definately one of them.) he was generally a very decent manager, and exactly what we needed when we got him.
I am looking forward to the derby for the first time in years. Says it all.
Sorry, that's what I meant.
Oh yeah, I agree. Some of the Moyes hate is really a bit daft but a lot of criticism is justified.
I was a Moyes fan, and it's a shame the way he's left us, but in turn it's made it much easier to get over his departure, and easier to welcome Martinez's appointment.
Maybe some of the Martinez love is a bit OTT, too but I think a lot of people (including myself) have been very pleasantly surprised by how things are going so far.
I don't think the Martinez love is OTT to be fair, I think its great that people are behind the new manager, even if certain posters are mainly using it to have digs at Moyes or other posters instead of using it to spread positivety, most on the whole are just happy with the change.
Moyes however has received an insane amount of dislike on these forums, and whilst there have been a few points made that are worthy... the way he went for Baines, trying to buy our players whilst still being paid by us, pessamistic attitude towards our chances, not inviting Kendall... amongst them, mostly its just disprovable nonesence like the post I quoted claiming he had a glass ceiling of 7th/8th, that his transfer record is poor and even that he didn't progress us.
Its good to have a manager we can all get behind, but I don't see the need to falsly discredit the old one to do it.
Nothing wrong with going barmy for the Martinez blue and white army, just do it without being negative about the past which was actually provided us with plenty of quality football moments under very difficult circumstances.
Yeah, it is great. Like with all new managers, it could have gone tits up. He's doing a very decent job at the moment, but I think with our squad coming in to this season, a good season this year was foreseeable. I for one was excited to see what Martinez would do to the playing style and with our great squad I believed he could certainly bring us short-term success at the very least.
I think people are going to want to get as many digs as possible in now while they can, because there's still every chance that, a few transfer windows down the line, we could be in a very different situation. It's so, so easy to say we'll have no problems when we're doing well. We're a couple of months into the new season only. Let's just remember that this nice football and solo lo mejor needs to be backed up with a top 6 (at the very least) finish this year, based on the brilliant additions we've made in the loan market. I still can't believe we've got Lukaku and Barry is an unreal bit of business. We won't see a squad like this again without CL football imo.
The last transfer window was a short-term fix, albeit a very good one. Next summer will be even more important than this one in terms of keeping our league position during 2014-15. Replacing Lukaku with, er, nothing will be the hardest part and there's the question of whether Barry will be up for taking a 50-60% pay cut to play here.
