You're missing the point with these stupid games. You just go round the houses comparing Martinez to what you want but not what you don't want them contradicting it all in your very next post, then bringing Moyes in then chastising posters telling them to leave Moyes out. It's like trying to rope the wind with some of you lot.

Some people have been decrying (ridiculously) the performance of Ranieri and Pochettino this season somehow making out that Roberto's first season was better. I've argued otherwise. If you want to compare Martinez's second season with Pochettino's second season in happy to. Want to compare his first with Ranieri's first I'm happy to.

If you really are adamant to bring Moyes in to this, where did he finish at the end of his third season with a lesser squad and selling his best player?

I have not done such a thing in regards to Moyes... and no I don't have a problem with you comparing Martinez to Poch or me comparing him to Poch.

I have said numerous times that Poch is a better manager. That doesn't mean I want Martinez out though, and the fact remains Martinez did better in his first season with us than Poch did in his first season at Spurs, with similar qualities of squad and resources.

The difference is Poch, who like Martinez believes in setting a style at a club (e.g. Sotton) by introducing young, home-grown talent and adding to it when needed, has managed to take Spurs to another level this season and fair play to them.

Again, I have made no argument about Ranieri (and before you jump down my throat I realise you haven't said that I have). I think he's doing an amazing squad with a team that has been playing excellently since this time last year.

And yes, Moyes finished top four. In an era where not every team was able to spend shed loads of cash etc ect but the achievement, nonetheless, was huge.

But you can balance that out with where he finished in his second season...

I believe Martinez is the right man for the job. You don't. But the difference is as soon as somebody disagrees with you you claim they have done things they haven't and are playing silly games.

I'm willing to accept he makes mistakes, but I think the signs are there that he can work it out, while the players also have to take a lot of responsibility.

As much as I love a good self appointed have a go mod I think I'll kindly decline your advice. This is a forum, the clue is in the title. It generally doesn't work if people don't contribute. I enjoy a good dust down on here. Otherwise you get a load of abuse if you just post in post match threads.

firstly i urge you to watch your tone with me or i send you back to suck on yo mommas teat in a state of acute distress. secondly i urge you to check the rules of this place and note the bit about " generally being a bit of a tool " which you are by being obsessive over your opinion which others dont share therefore you are suppressing healthy debate with your tedious continuity. lastly see point 1 as it really is advice you need to take punk.
