Sounds fair enough to me. Nothing in that at all. They're a young team playing very well and will add game management to make their attacking play pay.

I agree that you can`t expect things to change overnight.
My problem with his statement is that he`s had two and a half seasons and the defense is going backwards.

I like that last bitlol. But our league form has been underwhelming- not a reason for concern like last year, but definitely not satisfying for this squad and tbf we've come to expect a lot more from this manager too.

The attention is on tomorrow however. Win tomorrow, win the tie, and obviously then win the cup against the RS and I think it's fair to say that the majority of our fanbase would be very satisfied with this season regardless of where we finish in the league AS LONG AS WE ARE TOP HALF.

I'd love to accept that Dave but it's just the straw that broke the camel's back for me. Poor result after poor result and now he tells us that we can't expect the team to hold on to leads? I'm not having it.

In fairness he doesn't anywhere say " we can't expect to ......", he simply is saying what many of us think ie. that it's a part of the game that this young side has to develop and it's not something learnt quickly. With all young teams it's evolutionary and takes time. You wouldn't go to school for nearly 15 years if you learnt everything in the first year.
