Is that the thing off reddit from the other day or something new?

A new post, he says we've definitely spoken to Favre and Clement but we're waiting to see if Mancini gets the chop or not as the board would prefer hiring a free agent rather than having to pay a large compensation fee. He also says that we'll not get any news until 2 weeks after the season ends.

I think there's more to it than rumours, it's coming from more than social media, there's too much chat (privately) from well placed sources to just dismiss it as rumour. No-one has been able to confirm it yet though.

Certainly I don't have anything to say 100 % that a conclusion has been reached.

Best guess would be that the discussions that have taken place in the last couple of weeks have continued post match.

If they've reached a conclusion it's going to be by mutual agreement either (i) immediately - tomorrow morning or (ii) he will see our the season and leave then.

As I mentioned last night I can see no business or footballing reason for the situation to continue beyond tomorrow.

I'm not claiming I'm 'in the know' or anything like, but the rumour going around that I heard was that if we wait to sack him until after June 1st, we'll save ourselves £2m in terms of compensation due, as per Martinez' contract. Something about Martinez 'completing a 2nd full season' of his 5 year contract that commenced in 2014. If we sack him before June 1st, it won't be classed as him completing the season.

Gardening leave then!

That's if spurs win all 4 games. Another win will do them I'd guess

Of course. I think the only one of the 4 matches that Spurs may potentially slip up on is Chelsea away on the Bank Holiday Monday.

I think Leicester will easily beat us (could be 3 or 4-0 if Martinez is still in charge). Utd & Chelsea away will be tougher for them.

Right - as earlier there was no meeting today at FF and he was not sacked. Situation has changed within the last hour and RM has RESIGNED - Orly / Mout you can hunt me down tomorrow if this isn't confirmed. To be fair to RM he has shown at least a dignity - must have realised the tidal wave of fan opinion.

Absolutely crying at this @MoutsGoat

Fair play to you lad. Fair play lol

Fair play for posting if this is true MC and fair play to Martinez if he has resigned. He can leave with 0.1% of his reputation still intact of that is the case.
