Some lid is saying we've spoken to Lucien Favre and Paul Clement.
Few days ago that Reddit?
Some lid is saying we've spoken to Lucien Favre and Paul Clement.
Some lid is saying we've spoken to Lucien Favre and Paul Clement.
Why? They will anyway
They need 2 wins, and play us at home, along with Utd and Chelsea away.
If he is sacked I demand that @davek be reinstated.Tomorrow being first training day after Saturday. No other reason mate.
Is that the thing off reddit from the other day or something new?
So a manager who isn't considered good enough for derby county in the championship should now be considered for Everton???Some lid is saying we've spoken to Lucien Favre and Paul Clement.
I think there's more to it than rumours, it's coming from more than social media, there's too much chat (privately) from well placed sources to just dismiss it as rumour. No-one has been able to confirm it yet though.
Certainly I don't have anything to say 100 % that a conclusion has been reached.
Best guess would be that the discussions that have taken place in the last couple of weeks have continued post match.
If they've reached a conclusion it's going to be by mutual agreement either (i) immediately - tomorrow morning or (ii) he will see our the season and leave then.
As I mentioned last night I can see no business or footballing reason for the situation to continue beyond tomorrow.
That's if spurs win all 4 games. Another win will do them I'd guessThey need 2 wins, and play us at home, along with Utd and Chelsea away.
I'm not claiming I'm 'in the know' or anything like, but the rumour going around that I heard was that if we wait to sack him until after June 1st, we'll save ourselves £2m in terms of compensation due, as per Martinez' contract. Something about Martinez 'completing a 2nd full season' of his 5 year contract that commenced in 2014.

Right - as earlier there was no meeting today at FF and he was not sacked. Situation has changed within the last hour and RM has RESIGNED - Orly / Mout you can hunt me down tomorrow if this isn't confirmed. To be fair to RM he has shown at least a dignity - must have realised the tidal wave of fan opinion.
