since the start of Oct won 6 games out of 23
5 of them were
20th placed Villa, twice
19th placed Newcastle, twice
18th placed Sunderland

Are we allowed to show proper rage at this or is it still classed as 'faux rage' until the clown has got us relegated?

Was thinking about this in light of a great post by @Prevenger17

We might be too focussed on Lukaku - when he doesn't deliver, we're pretty goosed. He's scored what, 18 of the 41 league goals? If we were 7 points better off - hey, if we'd not burnt a two goal lead at home to West Ham and won one of the Swansea / WBA / Stoke games plus a draw .

If Moshiri is genuinely here to put the cash in, we are not in the Villa situation - despite the .prospect of, er, losing a goalscoring Belgian centre forward and.... Er... Being in a Cup final after a disappointing league season.... And .... Er.... With Tom Cleverley not really impressing in our midfield.. Er.....

Other than that, no real parallels

Just done a search of all things Everton and Martinez: fair to say that no ones arsed apart from an illiterate Echo hack.

Maybe that's because we're midtable and have just been beaten in a meaningless game by the odd goal away to United.
