What I believe usually happens is that the manager is paid his normally monthly figure until he gets a job.

The sacking club then make an offer settlement that matches his old wage less his new wage.

If thats not acceptable then they have a walk along to court and let them sort it out.

Its really left to the judge, usually an out of court settlement is agreed.
