LCB -- Mori
DM -- McCarthy
CF -- Lukaku / Niasse (jury still out)

If he has been told top 7 by the board and is hitting 11th again then of course they will look for another manager.

however if another manager comes in and is being given a task to overachieve by a few places then would they take the job?

Every manager has targets, same as every other employee when they come in.

Bearing in mind that the club had been consistently finishing in that top 7 for at least a couple of seasons - a manager who is deemed better then his predecessor should be able to achieve that. Sure we can agree on that. If you are employing someone they should at least be equal to the person you previously employed - if not better.

Every man and his dog thinks we are under achieving significantly with the squad we currently have at our disposal.

You've added "tangible" because in answer to your previous argument I've listed the positions where he's added players and its not all that great

Where he has spent tangible money:

Mori
Lukaku
McCarthy

and to a lesser extent Deulofeu and Lennon (under £5mil each) for the same squad position. The only £5mil+ signing hes signed who has been a dud is kone.

Big money signings above all good - especially Mori turned out well in the face of doubters. Let's hope Niasse is the same......

Got me hopping mad. When he signed kone and alcaraz after he joined i was furious.

These days i just look at the amounts spent on players and think the cheap ones will be a mixed bag. Totally different approach to moyes and one factor which is a bit odd is comparing their net spends without looking at the rest of the league.

If we put most of his signings on the market we would make a tidy profit.

As our spokesperson what is out of touch with reality in saying we only tend to change when relegation is an issue.
May not be what you want to hear but it's close to the truth
