If we win the cup it will be great and all that with the fans...but hey ho the sack is the only happy solution,

It might be enough for some fans. But a couple of days after the final when the hangover wears off we will still (probably) be a bottom half club on the verge of losing our best young talent.

21 years since the last cup but how long until the next

If we get knocked out in semi-final he'll be sacked . Need new manager in before end of season so he can have a good look at the squad

Crikey Dave really said that?
Dunno if it's been posted by someone else, but yeah, I made a multiquote and a picture, so that it's (hopefully) never lost!

I think I'm about the only one who does want that sensible debate. It is absolutely off the charts on here atm. Has been for a few weeks.

The atmosphere is poisonous.

You don't even watch Everton matches, you have no idea about the kind of dross we're having to put up with every week, what position are you in to offer a "sensible debate"?

I thought this was already an echo chamber enough

How did this forum end up like this with abuse of people taking differing views?

Unreal.
It's tongue in cheek, Dave. The partition reference at the end gives it away

You carry on mate
We now have divergent views on if Bobby is the man to take us forward and not backwards, and that's all good.
Full respect that you hold a strong view and are maintaining it, even if it must feel like Canute and the tide at the moment
Peace

We were terrible, again, yesterday - bar a few players.

Weirdly enough, the defence looked okay. Stones and Jags both had good games.

Their goal was Baines (as always) getting beat and then not stopping the cross and Coleman messing up.

Martinez was dreadful. In the league, I don't think they're playing for him.

Good to have you on board, sir.

We're collecting bedsheets for a protest AS WE SPEAK.

Went away for a week with only limited looks, and caught up on like near 200 pages lollollollollol

Particularly like the vaulting of certain individuals.

Spoke to @BlueToff after the run of "easy" games when people where saying that we had turned the corner, we had some alright results (actually winning a game helped), and i said - lets see how we do after playing better teams. We have regressed so badly its pathetic - the lack of desire, the lack of fight - I genuinely believe Martinez can't get his team fired up, probably because he is too optimistic in everything he does.

Enough is enough now. Time to go - still shocked the in vote on here has more then 100 people, most other places its like 90% out - 10% in!

Was a 0-0 at worst. Neither side conjured up much. Their goal was a mistake, granted, but jags was superb as was Stones. Baines' distribution at times looked like it was back on the money.

There is no doubt we are lacking confidence. We need wins in these next three games (obviously).

Great to see Deu back too.

Gaz Baz was a big miss, reinforcing the view by many that we desperately need reinforcements at CM.

It certainly wasn't a terrible performance, a typical Utd away performance if anything and one we have become accustomed to for the last 20-odd years.
