ok ill bite cue another tedious fact-The running costs for Goodison go into millions every year: DaveK's facricated response here:

Any proof of this?

How much are the running costs for Old Trafford and Anfield?

A tenner? compared to our 'millions' every year.

Its a good job that this ridiculous Kirkby idea is going to get jibbed off, its a [Poor language removed] stupid idea.

Hey someones got to keep it real mate, two sides and all that! Forums are free but KEIOC infiltrate, its fair that opinons are balanced, theres many on here that have much to contribute on the issue with a lot of expierence on the matters at hand, but they are either to bored or to intimidated too.

Isn't the Inquiry about what the benefits to Kirkby will be if Everton move there, and about how the infrastructure will cope with "up to" 50,000 people descending upon the area every fortnight, but mostly about the retail element of the plans?

If that is the case, then what has Goodison Park got to do with the Inquiry?

I understand the club want to put people off going to Goodison in the interim whilst Kirkby is built, and has potential investors to put off, but aside from that, the Secretary of State has absolutely no interest in Goodison Park and it's obvious pit-falls (which need addressing)

I was going to ask the same thing. On the other hand there is nothing else they can offer except "Goodison Park is a shithole, so we have to move". Great business plan and presentation, eh?
