Robbie Keane?

Rumour is that he and the fat manager have fallen out big time; hence, yesterday Keane was told to stay away from the game.

Now, if Liverpool had paid, say, £10m for him, I might believe this story of him coming on loan was possible. But there is no way the club hierarchy would sanction a £20m player leaving on loan after just a few months.

Shame we didn't sign him a few years ago. I seem to remember a deal was wrapped up at £7m only for it to fall through at the eleventh hour.

Keane is a good player, and would probably do well under Moyes. Shame that he won't get the chance.

This has to be the joke of the year.:lol: He is rubbish. The only reason he scored a few goals at Spurs was Berbatov. I know some Spurs supporters and they were glad to get rid and at 20 mill they screwed the RS.

I see about half of the posts would be for it and the reast not, put me in the no camp, my glass is half full.:pint:

He scored more than a few, Robert. I would class him as £10m striker, nothing more than that. And that figure is based on the fact that British based strikers go at a premium at the moment.

But not 20 mill, Nebb. Boy how Spurs screwed the RS and for a 28 year old. Only a few mill less than Torres. Did the fat waiter really think Keane was that good????(n)

Id love him here, i think he's a great player - anyone who saw him at Tottenham would agree too. Liverpool just played him in the wrong position, then didnt play him at all, and he lost confidence. Here he would do better.

However - i couldnt see us being able to afford to buy him - or Liverpool loaning him out to us a couple of days before an FA Cup replay. Liverpool would never loan him to us anyway.

And he supports Liverpool, i doubt he'll want to go to their closest rivals.

It didn't stop Carragher, Gerrard and all the other Everton supporters going the other way did it? :@

I'd love to have him too and what better way to rub it in to Benitez than to score loads of goals for us!

Apparently so. Funny that the papers saying Redknapp wants him back at Spurs. It's getting to be a right family reunion. Defoe Chimbonda and maybe Keane. Strange that.

If he wasn't a massive Liverpool fan I could see it, but he is. All he does is go on and on about how big a red he is.

So if that's the case I guess he doesn't mind sitting in the stands.

Actually I think he's pretty good, and is just sitting on the bench because Rafael is trying to have a pity party about how "small" his transfer budget is and supposedly how little authority he has on the team.

We can't afford him on loan or as a permanent transfer and they'd never sell him to us. Besides, Spurs are interested and they always will spend more than us.

Why would Liverpool continue to pay his wages, and let him play for us, it is pure speculation and won't happen in a million years
