It only works on the grounds that he's fallen out with Rafael and is persona non grata, and that they're skint and want him off the payroll.
Still unlikely, but not impossible as with the idea that they would continue to pay his wages - which is just silly.
 

I'd usually skip over this one as a non-starter... But sometimes the strangest stories turn out to have more than a whiff of truth to them.

More than likely, someone's seen that he wasn't in their squad and let their mind run amok with insane tabloid tales...

On the other hand, he's more of an Everton type player anyways - full of running and effort, he really just shouldn't have come out and proclaimed himself to be a lifelong RS.

If he joined Everton, would he then claim he supported us all of his life?? I would'nt want him here but that is irrelevent because he wont join us in any case.
 

Nice to see a good wind up to start the week.

If it were true and the boyhood red was forced out so soon after signing following a rift with Rafael. who wanted him out so much he would be willing to continue to pay his wages. And to the local rivals he's probably hated since childhood. Would he be our official bitter blue.
