….assuming they lose the election, there’ll be an immediate move for a new Conservative leader but I just can’t see Sunak hanging around. There’s surely no way his ego will let him serve as a constituency MP on the opposition backbenches.

I predict Sunak will ditch the Tory’s before they ditch him. It’ll be the first bi-election after the general election.

Personally think he will be relieved of his duties the day after the election just as Starmer is forming his new Government. Could also see them regrouping under the leadership of Penny Mordaunt…

….it’ll take more than a day to oust him, which is why I think he’ll resign before he’s pushed and I could see him leaving politics altogether.
