Yes. There's maybe 15% of the population that would vote Tory come what may. 5% maybe genuinely affluent and looking out for their own interests ref private schools and investment trusts. The other 10% are just wannabe haters.

To be fair there's at least 15% at the other end of the political rainbow that hate anything the Tories do or say regardless.

Would imagine the caller was retired and in reasonable good health, and it fits my experience be it Mental health work by supporting people through retirement process or retired members of family and acquaintances there is nothing to fear from a Tory government, they generally line their pockets with cash.

If you can get to retirement with no rent cost or be mortgage free most retired people will be alright that's until associated age related illnesses start to take hold. Caller attitude was very typical, Me myself and I.

but again there is another side to the coin, the majority of these oap's have worked/ paid taxes most of their lives and I may be on the minority on this forum, but I do believe these people deserve a bit of comfort in their old age. But I can not agree with one word that caller had on there, she will no doubt have had hardened Tory parents who have brought her up with them views, children often mirror their parents and our often " conditioned" to them views, my opinion anyway.
