Richarlison

Good enough to start in a Europa League Semi Final but some fans don't want him back...hmmm
Aside from the fact starting a Europa League semi final isn't exactly an incredible achievement for a professional footballer, I don't think many people think he's literally not good enough to play for us, more that he might not be the best signing we could make for the money.

No I agree with that, my point was nothing to do with that though, I was just saying it gets said a lot that people complained about Lukaku but really that was more a social media/forum thing than something that happened at games. Some players the fans don't take to or whatever but that wasn't the case with him at all, despite how it might sometimes seem.
I think that applies to modern world in general, in ground people are more guarded about what they say, in case people get annoyed with them. Since popularity of social media, you have people expressing even more deranged opinions on things. Only lunatics tend to post things on Twiter, so naturally you get most deranged fans opinions.

You mean we shouldn't just go out and buy the whole Bodo Glimt team?

Would probably cost less too...

Far too injury prone.

We are a club that is always bringing back old players and managers though so I wouldn't shock anyone if he did return.

Kind of not what i was getting at. He started a semi final ahead of players like Kulusevski.

Yup, we keep bringing back old players and managers who are almost to a man inferior to what they were the second time around and then we wonder why we decline as a club.

I think the question is would we want him if he hadn't played for us before. I think if he hadn't played for us before the consensus would be too injury prone and on the slide from a peak performance point of view

Wait, you wouldn't take Richarlison because he's gone backwards recently but you would take Jamie Vardy who has scored 50-70% less goals this season than in previous years? Is this a serious post?
I’d take vardy on a free to throw on for the last ten minutes if you needed a goal. Kinda like the time we wanted Michael Owen but fergie took him. Richarlison would cost upwards of £25 million I’d imagine, plus big wages. Not worth it
