Richarlison

3 years today. Not sure it would be the right move to sign him but I'm still saying yes.

Good player, Moyes player who tracks back and does all the little things. I also don't see how to make the numbers work. Levy will want more than the remaining twenty-five million or so in amortization. Then, there's wages.

Deals like this are how we found ourselves up the financial creek without a paddle. If a mid-to-late career player has injury problems or doesn't work out, their transfer value goes straight to zero as they collect dead wages on our books.

If he comes back, I think it has to be a late-career thing like Gana at the right price. If Rico wants to hang on over there for a year, then force the move, fine. As it stands, Levy's holding the cards, and he'll stand firm this summer just to build credibility in higher stakes negotiations.

Correct. Love Richy but we can't pay big fees for players that have no resale value and any money should go on younger players

That’s far too sensible an assessment.

I say we make him our highest paid player. We can use the Arteta money to pay for it.

This is very true and I think all of us saying we love him and want him back are also saying it with that ‘if the deal is right’ caveat

When you consider the amount of wages we`ve plurged out on the likes of Keane, Doucoure, DCL etc for years I`d say the Arteta money was used up years ago.

Prem era, or all time? Surely only Prem era.
Well im 39, probably started going when I was about 5/6/7. So let’s say in the last 30 years, I have seen some dross wingers/attackers in our team. To me, he gives his all, loves the club, and is entertaining to watch. Yes, he’s up there for me as one of our best.
