I personally reckon his best position is as a wide forward (in a 4-3-3), with the main focus being on attacking the goal rather than covering the defence whilst out of possession, with the natural width being provided by attacking wing backs (similar to Salah and Robertson/Alexander-Arnold's relationship at RS).
Despite his decent physicality, he's not got the natural hold up play of DCL/Yakubu/Dunc, and laying off in tight spaces isn't one of his strengths - but rather playing off the shoulder of the opposing full back (Lukaku vs Arsenal in 13/14) as we start playing more quickly in transition from back-to-front (once we have better personnel in the middle of the park) could see him post 20 goals a season imo.
