Not if you play like a proper team and pass the ball forward instead of hoofing it. It's freaking Brighton and before that it was Watford. Can we really not play the ball up the pitch on occasion vs sides like that?

Brighton played on because Coleman played on when he had the ball and didn't kick it out, when Coleman lost the ball then Brighton were asked to keep kick the ball out of play.
