If it's an injury that can be managed by a pain killing injection, he'll play I think. International break next week, let's hope there's a bit of smoke and mirrors invloved here.

Regardless of the international break, if it’s something that would keep him out for 2 weeks but then playing on it injured could keep him out for 4, I’d rather not take that risk. As we have Cardiff, Liverpool and Newcastle and id rather he is fit for them than potentially just Chelsea. But then we won’t know until Marco tells us or hindsight comes into play.

I was hoping we would have moved on from playing through injuries as I’m sure it’s something that used to happen a lot under Moyes and Martinez didn’t it? And players lose form and it doesn’t usually end well.

This 100% if he's injured dont take the risk. Get him fit for Cardiff and the Derby.
