Have a direct threat down the middle, allowed Kane to drop in and get on the ball more. Him being in the same area as Kane arguably led to the goal from the corner as he occupied defenders away from Kane. Can see why Conte brought him, he’s a great tactical option.

Tbf we saw it all the time with him. Even if he was having a bad game I never wanted to see him subbed, because he would still motor around and heckle the opposition and create enough chaos that we might get something. He'll have much better games than yesterday, but if your team is getting the runaround and you can't get anything going up front, he's one of the best lads you can call on

Spurs were well under the cosh before he came on, he changed the impetus of their attacking options and didn’t allow Thiago and koulibaly so much time on the ball… had a really positive impact in my opinion
