Reyes for Pienaar?

I always knew Pienaar was going to be a big player for us, i used to watch a few Ajax games on Eurosport when they were on when i was young and him, VDM, Ibrahimovic etc were class.

He's just one of those players who is 2 or 3 steps ahead of most players and his footballing brain is probably one of the best around. I rate him as much as Mikel and would cry if he left.

Confederations Cup Player of the Tournement Pienaar for a moody club hopper in Reyes?

Pienaar every time. He's even admitted him and Baines make sexy love down that left.

The press over here are quoting 4 million for Reyes so they'd need to offer 25 million plus Reyes for me to even think it might be worth while.

Link for Reyes looked promising (at least for me), but now it's hard to deal with this nonsense about swapping him for Pienaar (n)

Is there a rule that the award winners had to play in the final? Every award went to a Yank or Brazilian.

What a random thread.

I can do that also.

Moutinho for Cahill?
Defour for Arteta?
Mbia for Neville?

I dont get the point of this thread. Very strange.

I didn't post a link to the rumour because it came from Tribal Football but, even though it's a no-brainer, my initial shock at the very thought of losing Stevie P compelled me to mention it.

Don't know about that, but portuguese papers are putting Everton as the main obstacle to Benfica's will to sign him on a permanent basis.

Hope they're right, could be a major coup by Moyes. If he gets him back to his best, he's world class. Especially for the money quoted, I think he's worth a risk.
