Return of fans to stadiums to be controlled by Ballot

My son-in-law was at the match yesterday and he said that from his vantage point in the Gwladys Street End he could physically see the players responding well to the encouragement of the crowd. Despite being very small in number it seems that the Evertonians inside the ground were like a 12th man.

I never got the Arsenal ticket, just put in for man U one, they've swerved me on two games now so surely I'll get the cup game lol

Also, does anyone know how they're going to charge for the cup game because obviously it's not from my season ticket, would they just deduct the 20 quid from the next payment or ask you to pay if your successful?

It said you’ll get a payment link if successful.

Would be interesting to know how many are applying for these ballots.

Once the registration period has closed, fans will receive an email confirming the outcome of their ballot entry on the morning of Wednesday 16 December. This email will include a link to purchase (match ticket prices below) the chosen match ticket/s for this fixture within a two-day window, closing at midnight on Thursday 17 December. Once purchased, supporters will be able to go into their ticketing account to download the tickets to a mobile device.

If, after the two-day sales window, there are any remaining seats, these will be opened up to the next set of supporters selected from the initial ballot. This will happen in stages until all seats have been sold.

This method of ticket allocation as part of the ballot process allows greater flexibility for supporters, providing the option to select seat/s at the point of purchase.

Ticket prices are as follows:
Adults (25-64) - £30
65+ - £15
Under-25s - £15
Under-18s - £10

Unsuccessful in the ballot (again). Maybe the Man City game, but would prefer the Man Utd cup match. Might end up with neither!
