That makes the most sense, have them compete for the position. They've both got different attributes so could be interesting/us being sh*te on the left for the rest of the season.

I'd want to start Bily and have Gueye come off the bench when Bily gets tired, in the long run I see Gueye hopefully making the position his own. If I remember correctly Gueye can also play as a striker, so he should be able to get some goals as well.

Billy--Baines on the wing. Its not going to work. Defensively we will get murdered. Billy can't run and Baines won't be able to go forward. We'd even be better off with Osman there.

Do they even teach defense in Russia? The national team's defense is a sieve and for christ's sake Jo was unstoppable in the Russian league.

Anichebe did well with Baines in the 2nd half. That being said he's only effective when he works hard and probably isn't in shape to give 60 minutes/match let alone 90.

Given that the money for anyone isn't going to be there next season, and Victor is as good as gone we are going to have to give Gueye a chance at the postion.

Voted Bily, Just needs a good run in the team. Once he gets some confidence he will be a quality player for us. Then we will be saying Pienaar who!!! oh that guy sat on the chelsea bench

Right Bily can't run and never tracks back. Bily is a unconventional forward nice finisher but that about it really a enigma not a Prem type player at all. If he could ever get some get up and go about him I may warm up to him. We at the moment do not have a replacement for Pienaar. Sorry to say it but we just don't.

That's not Bily's game though is it, technically he's very good.

He would complement Baines perfectly I think.

Pienaar and Arteta haven't got pace and aren't particularly strong either, yet they have both played on the wing for us. Bily is a lot more gifted technically than Pienaar.

Never tracks back? I've obviously been watching a different set of Matches against Liverpool than you.

Defensively he's strong, he plays left-back for Russia.

Bily can be Pienaar's replacement, the ability is their, the effort and passion is there. The confidence is not.
