This seasons turning points to disaster -

Appointing a kopite manager.
Not sacking him after the Watford game.
Not sacking him again after the Derby.
Waiting until mid January to finally sack him.
Appointing a manager just before the transfer window shuts
Appointing a manager who is increasingly looking like the totally wrong man at the wrong time.
Losing to our main relegation rivals from 2-1 up.

Our top flight epitaph....

We will be ok if we go down, but it certainly isn’t ideal. It could work as a reset as we have been treading water for years.
It is well deserved! A lot of people have worked their socks of to make it happen. I hope it will coast a fortune to some of them!

No doubt that today is a sickener - the way it happens as well with two goals in the last 5. That’s how teams survive.

Unless we pull something out of the bag tomorrow then it’s done.

Mixture of anger and sadness that we are left to rely on Watford etc. What a time to be an evertonian.

I think we can beat Watford, Palace and Brentford, although if we do it won't be with any style and they'll be fraught encounters

If we do then we're also going to need to win one of the games with Chelsea, Leciester and Arsenal, or draw them all, whilst some other games go our way

It's a big ask

As someone has already said, it's going to take a miracle

3 wins and 3 draws will do it I think, but getting them will be another story

hopefully if we do drop it will be the catalyst for every board member to be sacked - absolute shambles should feel embarrassed to ever set foot in liverpool again

Dunc should have got the job, it doubtful he would have done any worse.
