Burnley might have slightly more favourable fixtures but they haven't won two in a row all season they're draw specialists and draws aren't enough. That said we need to take advantage of our home games. Three points Wednesday is critical and if we can't win get a point. Also we seem to step up more in big games especially at home because I think the bigger team come on to us and we can actually catch them if we can stay solid. I don't fancy us in any away game so home fixtures become critical.
They did in Feb to be fair, away to Brighton/home to spurs in a few days, they last won 2 home in a row xmas 2020

Would it ?

Middlesbrough were four points off the playoffs when he took over. They are currently three points off it.

Dyche is infinitely more proven as a PL manager than him. A bizarre choice to sack one for the other imo.
Didn’t say sacking Dyche was the right thing to do, but Wilder is a solid manager who could very easily get a reaction from them.

If I was him, I wouldn’t leave Boro though.

Think we need to win or the odds swing completely against us. Burnley got the point at WHU that we should have got.

He’d be swapping a slim chance of promotion for a fair chance of relegation.

I can’t see the sense in it, personally. Burnley isn’t a step up from Boro, especially if they are both in the Championship next season.
I think we need to be looking more up than that.

I reckon Lampard will have the sway of potential good youth.

Fun fact: if we win tomorrow we'll be top 9th in terms of home form in the PL this season....but rock bottom of the PL away form.
