I think Burnley, Watford and Norwich will all win every game they have left even when they play each other. There previous 31 games were only a blip.
Pretty much the fact going by most Evertonians on every forum and social media. Complete misery.

For me, every match they don't win is a win for us. 7 to go. If we don't stay up we can't complain. It will be disappointing but life will go on folks!

Does 'everyone' mean the same as 'some'?

Most posts I'm seeing are predicting wins v Leicester, Palace and Brentford. Some saying unbeaten in last four home games and getting something off Chelsea aswell (which based on last few seasons isn't that wild a prediction in fairness).

Hopefully I'm wrong but I simply don't see it as straightforward as that considering the team isn't really scoring that many at Goodison so I genuinely think an away win somewhere is a must in the run in to be reasonably comfortably.

They took 4 points off Villa last season so generally do o.k v them and Villa lost to Watford at home a while back and even with Coutinho just generally have a team on beach look so I wouldn't be relying on them at all.

Burnley have still taken 4 points from last 3 so I'm amazed they're just getting discounted. Fair enough if they don't win any of their next 3 as that will basically relegate them. However a point away to West Ham is undeniably a good building block and they could well appoint an experienced manager early next week so that should give them a further boost mentally.

I still think Burnley can get to 33-34 points so in that scenario would need 37 points before Arsenal away to be very sure of safety and that's a bit of an ask although winning on Wednesday massively helps.
Over the last two seasons it's 1 win each and 2 draws but you're obviously right.

I asked - does 'everyone' mean the same as 'some'? It's a simple question. If you don't want to answer it you might want to consider a career in politics.

Having a 3 point gap and game in hand is helpful but we need points and wins fast.

Burnley have won only 4 games all season - the fewest in the league. The West Ham game tho not a loss it's another game they failed to win especially taking the lead.

A win v Leicester on Wednesday would add to the positive results v United and maintain some momentum going into the run in especially with tougher fixtures coming.

We really need to learn how to pick up some draws which we have been criminal at this season just grinding out a point.

In this case one point is ultimately better than none.

...it's primarily better as well...

Leicester game is critical for me. If we win I think we’re almost there, 6 clear with 7 to play. If we lose we’re in an almighty scrap.

Win Wednesday and then Burnley play twice before the Darby. Then see where we are at. All if buts and maybes at the moment. Come next Sunday we have a much better picture and hopefully 6 points clear with 5 to play
