We might not under Lampard.

There's no question that the team were affected by the protests against Benitez.

Why aren’t you directing your frustrations at the owner for appointing a manager that’s been despised by this fanbase for over a decade? I thought as the self-appointed resident anti-Moshiri guy you would’ve jumped at that opportunity.

Do you truly believe that Keane, Holgate, Doucoure, Kenny etc discussed the matter and said "Look, lads, the fans all (apart from some guy called Dalek or something) hate the Gaffer, don't let's try too hard today."

We wouldn’t have got 38 points under Benitez though.

You're never anything less than a committed lunatic, I'll give you that.

It’s all our fault lads, you leave Benitez and his bootlickers alone, he would have sorted Everton out if you just would have followed his awful results and performances - top level lunacy from prophet angry citrus.

If we held on to beat Burnley we of been 10 points clear and safe of relegation.. typical Everton
We never beat Burnley though, why do people keep saying this? Had we beat Burnley AND Man Utd we may have given ourselves a 10 point buffer; but everything we know about Everton tells us had we beat Burnley we would have then shot ourselves in the foot the next game. Everton arent we???!!?

We had a point per game under Benitez...38 points would see us safe...and we were 15th when he left.
Err didn’t we have something like 6 points out of 42 at 1 point under him and won 1 in 14 which 11 where losses, or very close to that

Some bad decision making in them though by Allan and Keane.
I agree with that in the case of Keane, he went for 2 yellow cards and had no desperate need to make either of the challenges he was booked for, especially the second one knowing he was already on a yellow. Allan, however, I thought was unfortunate. Yes it was a questionable challenge, but, it was really no more than a yellow card.

Tarkowski - there'll be competition for him on a free.
Brilliant defender in my opinion. Easily a 30m defender for what he does, solid as a rock, wins everything in the air, doesn't take many risks with the ball at his feet. And we signed Michael Keane. If Tarkowski is available it's a no-brainer to try and get him in. Holgate and Mina out, Tarkowski, Godfrey, Keane, Branthwaite next season. Ideally it'd also be Keane out and somebody better in, but we all know he's going nowhere.

The team is terrible, our manager is a mistake, but we won't get relegated. Burnley showed at the weekend this is a relegation battle too far for them. And Watford are done. We should start looking at the next few games as preseason ahead of next year. Genuinely worried about how that will turn out.

erm ok lad
