Leeds may pick up depending who the new manager is, esp when they get a few players back

As shocking as today was, there needs to be a little clarity.

This was a game no one will have been banking on points from, so in essence, nothing lost. This would have been far worse in the Newcastle match.

I thought City were clueless and lame first half and there for the taking.

Their passing was laboured and without invention and they didn't fancy taking on our players and going past them.

City are in the doldrums and we could have had a point if we'd tried to be more inventive.

We have 6 home games left I believe. On the evidence of the home performances so far under Lampard we will win at least half of those. However, we need to find a couple of performances away from home. Preferably those games against Watford and Burnley

I make it seven home games.

United, Chelsea, Barcodes, Wolves, Brentford, Leicester and Palace.

News is that Leeds are sacking bielsea and replacing him. I personally think that is a massive mistake. I could still see enough in Leeds remaining games for them to stay up. But that included winning some away games such as at Leicester. I don't see them doing that under a new manager.

Bielsa has been missing the spine of his team and to sack him on the basis of that is wrong. Yes they've had some thumpings recently but 4-0 or 1-0 both are losses. I now see Leeds as a serious candidate to go down which I didn't if he stayed and got Phillips, Bamford and Cooper back from injury

They're the games that the season will hang on. 9 points there. Take us to 31 points. 2 wins is a minimum.

It will be interesting to see if the Leeds players can adapt to a more defensive system, as they've all been bought and trained to play in Bielsa's style.

After yesterday's display, I thought we played great first half and should have scored from Kenny or Richarlison but 2nd following on from Doucoure and Allan both being booked, we contained well and snuffed out most of City's attacks.

Sadly once Van de Beek got injured, we never replaced like for like which allowed De Bruyne more space and City took complete control of the game.

City's goal is a very bad piece of defencing but all in all we looked ok and dealt with most attacks. We really need to bring Mykolenko and Patterson in because our lack of width and natural ability is restricted our attacking.

Lampard set up perfect and our midfield 3 FINALLY worked and highlighted Allan on how to use him. He lost his head which lead to his yellow but in all honesty the officials needed binned but I won't use that as an excuse.

We had very little joy attacking but the chances we carved out, we had to finish and unfortunately Richarlison missed those key chances.

I don't want to talk about the penalty because that will take to shine off a great effort from the team who I know will start to get more consistent and start turning the season around.

I didn’t think I would see a worse penalty call than Kevin Friend’s abomination of a decision for the RS at Palace but last night’s was worse, unjustifiable,especially in the context of such a good performance. Deserved more there lids.

Regardless of whos in charge they don't have the players to stop conceding that many, their defence is atrocious, bamford has been out all season and Phillips has been out a while. Can't see anyone turning that around whilst they're all still out

One thing that needs to happen above everything else if we are to push on next season is a review on our medical/fitness department.

VDB is with us less than a month and already an injury.

Not having it at all something isn't being done right in our medical department. Im hoping this new DOF looks into it and boots our medical department oot the door its been a shambles for years now.

I'm glad I don't have to watch City every week, that playing from the back and continually passing to one another taking about 30 passes to get near the goal mouth would drive me sleep. Give me Big Sam anyday ?

I am aware they picked few points up recently but they have Leicester, Chelsea, Brentford, Saints and City coming up. Admittedly the foxes aren't in great form but i still seeing them having too much
