We aren't surviving when Gordon / gray / Richy are our attack. We aren't city , we can't just play wingers and expect them to double up as strikers.
As much as it may not be that exciting , playing a recognised striker may make a little difference in how defences deal with us. Sadly we know this won't happen

I watched 2nd half of liverpool v villa real last night. Forget about ability. We know both teams are miles ahead of us.
But liverpool's work rate and intensity to every ball is from here to a distant galaxy away from us. No talent is needed for that. Their intent in winning back the ball and getting to it before an opposition player gets it is to be honest, amazing. It's like they are focused for every split second of the match and sprint to every single ball. Every single one. Not run. They sprint.
its embarrassing the effort and intensity everton have brought for the last number of years with only half the matches that liverpool have to play. 60 mins and some of our gas out with a tenth of the effort. These players are a disgrace to our jersey. Their mentality, their fitness ,their values of representing us. It's all false. Pretend.
I will look back at the period from november to February as the time period we got relegated. Not these months. I remember ever single home game being the same. Everton strolling out without a care in the world. Jogging around at nill all. Waiting to score a goal without any effort. Coleman (who I know cares about the club in fairness) taking 40 seconds to take throw ins at nill all v newcastle and other bottom and midtable teams thinking ...ah sure we might score sometime before the final whistle only for the opposition to knock in one 20 mins to go and then it takes seamus 2 seconds to throw it in.
I really do not like this team of players. They embarrass me as an Evertonian. I hope and pray we stay up and get rid of the lot of them.
