Is there any manager out there anyone thinks can realistically keep us up? I’d even take Allardyce back at this point.
Rooney is a massive gamble but if him or Ferguson can’t sort this then nobody can, we are doomed.
The main problem is that it seems to be a choice of Rooney or Ferguson. Neither should be a million miles close to the job imo.
That’s why you need a structure in place and confidence that the person making the decision knows what we are up against this season.
Kenwright seems to be adamant that is to be an ex blue in Martinez/Rooney/Ferguson…all who could be disasters and send us down.
Moshiri is influenced by big names - Mourinho/cannavaro etc - who have big potential to be disasters.
I’d say this though…in the position we are in now I rather a Mourinho came in as I doubt we’d get near relegation with him, he won’t touch the job though.
If we don’t get relegated this year it’ll be through luck rather than judgment - but surely there are plenty of managers out in world football who should fit the bill ?
