After the Burnley game if you’d have offered Everton to get 4 points from United and Leicester and Burnley to get 1 from Norwich and West Ham, and incur a crippling injury to a key player….every single fan would have taken that.
what 'key'player? only dcl has some distress? possibly a handbag with wrong shoulderpad?

Leeds have tough games as well. We need to bring them into the mix.
I see Leeds losing their next two and us a point off them with a game in hand.

That's not a good team.

Out of Everton, Burnley and Leeds we are the best of those three and in the better form.

I'm with this - we all want to see a win and get away from the battle - but we are just going to have to scrape it - 4 points isn't terrible and is actually an improvement.

The team is what it is - I'm not sure further navel-gazing will help, they need to fight their way out with whatever they've got.

With some fortune I think they can do it, but it's one game at a time stuff - battle for another draw at Mordor.

My mate is a Tranmere fan and he said that Jackson feller who is in charge at Burnley now managed them for a bit and was out of his depth with them. So hopefully this is borne out.
Lets hope so. On the other hand it would be just another of those football stories that a relative no-mark with no disrespect was given the job and lead them to safety against the odds (and in that scenario, against "much bigger" Everton, as it would be portrayed).

Absolutely.

We can take on decent teams and get results. If I was a Burnley fan I'd be aware of that when thinking that Everton v Chelsea or Liverpool or Arsenal are in their favour.

I think we can get 3 points somewhere from those three games and I'm pretty sure we'll get 6/8 points from the other 4.

That has to be too rich for Burnley.

…genuinely wish you wouldn’t be so bullish.

….Leeds have won 2 and drawn one of their last three. I think that’s better form than ours.

Leeds have got a few key players back since we played them. They are also capable of scoring goals. They are in a much better position than us, I can’t see us in any way finishing above them.

They are out of it, vault me if I’m wrong (I so hope you vault me). I see more chance of Watford having a chance of staying up than Leeds have of going down.
