I wonder how much Burnley’s result today was down to being mentally deflated after our win against Utd the day before?!
I’m fairly certain that these types of things come into play in the minds of players.
I'd be amazed if that affected them one iota, tbh. It may have been unexpected result, but Dyche will just keep saying to his team "these lads have no consistency, can't perform away, have to play teams all better than them" etc. I think Dyche and Burnley will still be thinking if they can win a few games, they've got every chance - hence why it's vital for us to beat Leics to prove we can put winning runs when we need to.

Big call that mate.

I've seen this lot beat Leeds and thiught we were safe...then Newcastle and thought we were finally safe....now we cant watse this last chance.
It feels like a corner has been turned now and the results this weekend have given us every chance of pulling clear.

Mina and VDB back for the run in has me optimistic that it’s all falling into place for us now.

Not sure I understand all the confidence in here. We're only 4 points above the drop and there is plenty of season left to play.
All based off one excellent performance against a poor United team, at home, infront of up-for-it 40,000 fans, all behind the team. Let's go and put 2 excellent performances back-to-back and 2 wins back-to-back for the first time in god knows how long before we start talking about "turning a corner" or survival being assured.

Burnley have an easier run in.
If we can beat the foxes and west ham can beat Burnley, and be 7 ahead with 7 to play, it gives us a great chance (All If's etc as always) , plus Burnley play the saints the day after our game v The Foxes, at the minute the only time us or Burnley have same ko is when we play away to Leicester in May so each other knows each time they ko what has happened - we need to be as many ahead of Burnley as pos for when no doubt we fail to win

For the first time since last Sunday I feel optimistic about our chances.

Looking at Burnley today: they are utter muck. I cant see them rallying to overhaul a 4 point lead we have. For all our faults we have a team that can duke it out with decent teams. For that reason I actually think our *harder* run in might suit us.

Got a bad feeling about that West Ham Burnley game next week with WHU being in Europe this week but what a weekend for us.

Fully expected us to be 18th, same points as Watford, and two adrift of Burnley. But we are four points above Burnley, Watford and Norwich all but gone, and we seen that the players will fight and that they do care. Good weekend for us for once, long overdue.

Work like we did on Saturday and we will be more than alright.

Does it really count if they get knocked out in the qualifying rounds? Even we managed to get further than that the season before,

Tbf getting a club like Burnley itself into Europe was a masterstroke.

In comparison Potterball gets rave reviews as the next big thing yet hasn't even got Brighton a top half finish despite more resources.

To be 4 points ahead of the Relegation zone, is some turnaround, when some may have thought we could have been in the bottom three 2 points behind 4th bottom

Many may have thought we could lose to man utd and Burnley beat Norwich
I always thought we had great chance v Man Utd to win, but fully expected Burnley to win
