Relegation Thread 25-26

Agreed , we know only too well about the pressure of that final day and I’m not sure spurs have the steel for it .

You’d still have Tottenham as favourites but a win for West Ham at the weekend makes things interesting
I think Spurs appear to struggle with the pressure particularly at home. If they need a result on the final day at home against us, I’d wouldn’t fancy them to cope with the pressure.

If West Ham go they aren't coming straight back up no chance, they are in serious trouble.

I wonder if they stick with Nuno to get them back up

Would love them to stay up only because it would be at the expense of Spurs, who I actually don't mind but just for the story

West ham will probably go next year unlike spurs I reckon

That stadium isn't paid for by them. So they can shuffle big contracts out of the door, consolidate, then go again with a clean slate. Their core support might dwindle long term though.

Haven’t they sold off a lot,of their future income. I saw an article (no,way I’ll find it now) which said they may need to sell a few even if they stay up

Now that Spurs are more likely to stay up, it's starting to hit me how hilarious it will be to see Championship games played at London Stadium. Lincoln at West Ham is going to be amazing to witness.

If West Ham don't immediately come back up I could also see them having some real long term trouble. Lots of variables though so we'll see.

I do think Wham are gone…… but….. they have been Unlucky last few games and barcodes have been cack athome. Yes, it’s their last home game but we beat them up there when they needed to win for CL and they were far better last yr. if Wham can do it puts huge pressure on Spurs going to Chelsea and that place’ll be a bear pit to try send them down.

C’mon…..🙏🏿

And ye…. I k so it ain’t happening !

they'd be mad to sell off future stadium upkeep and stewarding costs because the energy market dictates the rough ride of rising futures.

a bird in the hand isn't always worth two in the bush...

West ham don't even own their stadium they've really messed up. Feel sorry for their fans in one way as they've been stitched up. On the other hand they're anchors so I couldn't care less
