Bizarrely, the league table makes reassuring reading. Prior to today's games, not one team below seventh has won more than twice in the last six games. There is an awful lot of inconsistency around. Over the course of the season, the better squads (I include Everton and Palace) will be ok.
I appreciate that "ok" is not good enough for Everton.

It feels like the perfect storm at the moment....awful set of games at the start of the season....extra European games to play....pressure of the money spent and the most boring heartless manager to ever grace our football team in 15 years...sad times!

Palace have played better than us. You were unlucky yesterday according to my work colleagues who have season tickets at Newcastle. You were the better team against Burnley, done a lot of damage against Chelsea last week.

We have offered nothing.
