Relegation Fight 2014/2015

I still think Burnley will find it hard to move out of the drop zone. They did brilliantly against an admittedly ropey and off form City, but they have S'ton away next week and then Spurs and Arsenal at home. If they do the business there then I can see them getting safe, but I personally think that all three of the sides they face in their sequence of fixtures will be more difficult than that City side was last night.
I'd be amazed if they weren't still bottom three by the time they face us in April.

You could be right, it just seemed to me that Burnley have more fight in them than Sunderland, I think to get out of the relegation places you need some momentum and some confidence, I'm the Burnley players will take a lot of confidence from the city game and the good result down at Stamford bridge.

I think for us one win could change everything, same as it has for villa, they look a different team now than they did 3 weeks ago, some of that is the new manager, but most of it is confidence

We showed we can play. Under pressure, and play well, in an Eberton way. My bewilderment that started at Christmas is ebbing away.

Thanks christ

How can you say that after they have just beaten a better team than any of those four?

I mean, you are probably right......but the possibility of them winning a couple of those games cannot be discounted.

One thing is for sure.

They will be focusing on the Everton game as a can win and must win game.
By that time they may be just about down

Still in a relegation fight.
But here's the thing: If we beat QPR and Burnley we will stay up, whatever we get or don't get from the other games.
