Last 3 games.
L3. Negative GD -6.

A team that finishes top half will lose away to Spurs and Wolves and home to Man. City in all likelihood.

The worry yesterday was simply the manner of it, could've easily been a 6-0 loss.

Let's hope that's the outlier game for last three months, really can't afford a repeat of yesterday at Fulham as that's a critical game imo.

I thought personally the Fulham game was a little indifferent, didnt think we were great, but didnt think we were bad. Spurs bar little bits, i thought we were pretty good and deserved a draw at least, Man City we had a go. and The less said about Wolves the better. For me we have only under performed v Arsenal Home, and Villa and Wolves away the whole season
Pretty much this.
Before Christmas we had it in us to win games, it remains to be seen if we still have it in us to win some more.

I think we do.

This time last year we’d won 3 football matches. If we had it in us to win 5 more after Christmas last year then yes I’d say we have it in us to win more this year too.

Mad that we’ve already won the same number of games as we did last season. How on Earth did we stay up

Every time I think of how fine the margins were at various points last season, I give myself the creeps.

I was on holiday in the Canaries with my wifes family last day of last season. Wifi at the Villa wasn’t good enough to stream.

I spent the second half locked in a bathroom frantically refreshing Twitter for updates.

Awful.

Sunk a few beers afterwards like.

Maddison scores the penalty, that's it for top flight football. That was the narrowest margin possible so luckily Pickford completely psyched him out and didn't move an inch which was ballsy.

Lose that night and 7 points from Brighton, Wolves and Bournemouth would not have been enough.

In hindsight yes, as we would’ve lost 3-2, but that wasn’t even the endgame as there were still opportunities and matches after that for us to save ourselves. For me, the Castagne shot in the 94th minute for Leicester at Newcastle is the moment time stood still. There was absolutely nothing we could’ve done if that went in. Would’ve been completely reliant on West Ham on the final day of the season. Horrifying moment. Thank baby Jesus for Nicholas Pope.

We should have won that Leicester game as well, their keeper pulled a worldie against Doucs late on.

Another life saver for us though was this. Maddest game ever, Leicester did nothing and then they turned into prime brazil for like 10 minutes and nearly won it.

Yep I think my heart actually stopped beating when that cross went in to Castagne.
