I agree. But we could get the riches owners in the world (like Newcastle) and still not be able to spend. That’s obviously a bigger issue. If we can’t added to this team in the summer, regardless of who buys us, we’re cooked imo.

I think something will happen in the next 5 years that will change football from its current format. Whether it will be positive or what it is who knows.

charity shield will be played abroad soon , then when that gets old it will be the league cup final , then finally a few league games

We look like a deflated team since the Wolves game. Mailing performances in. Manager back to being clueless. Not good. Need some points back or it’s looking grim as Luton look a better side at the moment.

Momentum was decent at that time. Even the loss at spurs had positives as the team deserved something( forget city)

There is a very real possibility that after the City game we will be sat in the relegation zone, I think we will only get to 36 to 40 points this season which when you take off the 10 points leaves us very vulnerable.... our biggest win would be getting those points back, I`m not holding my breath and fully expect the PL to double down and give us even more.

This could be the season we go, Goodison`s last League cup and FA cup games were defeats to Fulham and Luton and Goodison`s last season could be spent in the Championship, the last visitors will be nowhere near the stature we have seen on this pitch.

Impossible to predict because we don’t know where we truly stand but you have to think the total points deduction is likely to be larger than 10 then smaller. We need to beat Fulham so we can get to that Palace game no worse than level. Away to Arsenal last game but preceding that a very nice run of games on paper although away to Luton has me very worried right now

The next few games will be tough and anything will be a bonus but there’s a really important run of home games that starts with Palace on 19th February which will probably decide where we finish. Might have to be patient and ride these next few games out.

Thing is... because of the points deduction we have to perform to levels/get points this club hasn't seen since Big Sam got us 8th with 49 points.

Then you've got Silva 54, Carlo 49, 59 all in had a transfer spend of near £300mill.

Dyche with the 3rd lowest net spend in the league has somehow got get European challenging football levels of points just to stay in the league

He's got one of the hardest jobs in top flight football IMO. So if we stay up...build a statue. If we go down...don't think anyone else could do better.
