Johnson was sold in the 2023/24 season so has nothing to do with their 2022/23 accounts.

Have their accounts been released? Is that whats being suggested that Johnson made them 30 million over? Also is 12 points the maximum allowed?

It’s six for the breach and a point per five million for being over. We were £20 million over so we got the extra four. We dispute being over by that much. They are over by quite a bit by all accounts whilst also gaining a sporting advantage. We were deemed as gaining no sporting advantage.

Not quite. We were deemed to have accidentally gained a sporting advantage, whereas they blatantly gained one by keeping Johnson and then playing him for the whole of August, when he was their best player.

Think they have been hard done by too if the end up with anything like 10 points but dog eat dog I guess

What are they trying to claim?

That they were being forced to sell their best player for far less than he was worth due to P&S rules, which runs counter to sustainability. In contrast I would say "rules are rules".

On an assumption that Forest and us will lose points, relegation is 3 out of 5. Christ, the uncertainty of how many points we have is absolutely crazy.

He only played three games, two of which they lost I believe. I suppose that’s an area of mitigation for them. Not much of a sporting advantage you could say.

Well they drew one of them, and football doesn’t actually work the way you think it does, where a team wins a game and then that’s it, they beat the opposition in every single game from then on for the rest of time.
