Let’s not mythologise Rondon , he was as poor as anything we have now.
Even Niasse offered more threat and scored more goals than the Venuzuelan Sloth.
If Rondon was a train you’d get a bus because he never arrived in the box on time.
He was unremittingly poor during his time here and would not have altered our current trajectory in the slightest.
Mythologise Rondon ? think your replying to the wrong person there m8.
I wouldn't let the bloke make me a cup of tea..

I was responding to a post saying we would be better with him.

If we go down the current midfield + defence is more than good enough to come back up when you consider we've held our own against sides like Arsenal and Villa who would walk the championship.

£80 millions lost in revenue if we go down however I suspect the club held the Gordon fee back incase we did drop meaning only a £40 millions or so shortfall - you could fetch that with a Pickford or Onana sale or try keep both and flog Dominic Calvert-Lewin + Kean combined.

Simms is already scored goals down there and Dyche knows how to bring a side up.

1-2 forwards in with a few like Mina, Iwobi, Davies et al off the books and we come back up revitalised with a point to prove.

i love your footy manager kak

we won’t come back up but you keep doing ya transfer and formation stuff

We will still have some big teams to play next season as it looks like Sheff Wed, Plymouth and Ipswich are probably going up
Remember the cup trip to Plymouth in 1970s..

If we do go down and Dyche can some how fix Dominic Calvert-Lewin's fitness and he stops around then he'll fire us right back up alongside Simms / another forward.

You agree Joey ?
If we go down Dyche will lose most of the present squad especially the high earners - Like Burnley this season he will have to rebuild with different players imo Dyche will hopefully have the knowledge to fetch us back up - that's why relegation would be a disappointment with the new ground needing finishing as we need investment asap it could be disastrous for us ....
