Our defensive record is uh...fine I guess. Thankfully its looking like we got plenty of company at the bottom and say 32-35pts might be enough. going to need a player or two like Gray and DCL to stay healthy and get on a hot streak for a month or so.

Everyone please take care and look after yourselves. I am concerned about some messages I have read on these forums about peoples mental state. Remember your health is more important than EFC. I get upset about the state the club is in but there are other things in life as well. I truly hope we turn things around and I believe we will. Hopefully we will avoid relegation. I think a new manager is required now and dare I say someone like Dyche maybe would steady the ship and we would not loose so many games. Football would not be so pretty, but it certainly isn't pretty with FL in charge. I know we should have replaced FL after the Bournemouth mess, but we didn't - a mistake - one has to make the right decision with the facts available today and I believe FL should go. We would have renewed hope moving forward. There is still plenty of the seaon to go.

Despite my often conflicted relationship with them I love the club but the idea we’re a Big club , is getting further and further away each day .

We’re deep in a relegation battle and In our last 9 years We’ve finished
16/10/12/8/8/7/11/11/5 , it’s almost the epitome of mediocrity . We still have a history of trophies that puts us 8th in the all time list but just below us - Newcastle, Blackburn , forest , Sunderland & Sheffield Wednesday . If you take away the recent Saudi takeover you’d struggle to call any of them big clubs and that’s our company .

The ineptitude of this current board have squandered our history , the legacy of the great sides that went before not to mention a huge amount of cash . We are The only member of the original big 5 to be no longer ‘relevant ‘ ,mwe’ve been usurped by new comers like Chelsea , city and now even Newcastle .

Everton will always be a huge club to me but to those outside and certainly to those who aren’t blues and are under 40 I think putting ourselves out there as a big club is getting to be a harder and harder sell and that’s heartbreaking. Maybe if we survive and the new ground provides some impetus that narrative might change but that could well be wishful thinking .

We are the team in the league who faces most shots per game, we have been lucky to not have conceded more than we have.

Are you messing? They'd be absolutely loving it. There's been multiple kopites who've spent literally years pretending to be blues on here to try and antagonise us, the idea that they wouldn't spend half an hour gloating in our faces if we got relegated is utterly mental.

We’re talking about “crowds gathering at Bramley Moore” here, not some gimp with a few thousand followers in TikTok making a stupid video or some melt going down to Goodison with a bedsheet and an iPhone.

I hadn't read it properly and took it to be at Goodison but same principle applies to be honest. There'd be plenty of their fans who'd be more than happy to turn up for an Everton relegation party, I have no doubt about that.
