We all know that Everton are in the bottom three and that the next step is to get us out of that situation, so there is no need to comment on something that is common knowledge. Had Frank Lampard been (or was about to be) sacked then an announcement would have been made, so we can assume that isn't the case and that he remains in place for now. The stadium will continue to be built regardless of the team that plays in it or what division we are in.

When there is a change at the Club, I am sure an announcement will be made.

lol lol lol
That's all very sanguine of you mate.

He can’t be given the Southampton game ffs! It would be pure negligence!

I think if we had money to spend in this transfer window mate I reckon Lampard would be gone, because we're skint it will be a couple of loans coming in so Moshiri will be happy to give Frank the Southampton game, win that game he gets a stay of execution and Moshiri doesn't have to worry about paying off another manager.

I'm fearing the reason he hasn;t gone yet is that Moshiri is nowhere the decision making now. That means we'll see BK hand Frank chance after chance to get us clear.

I finally took the red pill last night and I can see that Lampard's ego wont allow him to set up conservativley even when threatened with a mutinous crowd demanding our precious top flight status is saved. At least when RM was doing that we were a fair few points and places off the bottom with an attack that could fire us out of trouble anytime they liked.

We'll just have to see how this pans out mate.

Listen, I like Frank, totally understand all the calls for him getting sacked. I think he's sensible enough to know its simply not being good enough.

The players in the main have been an embarrassment and in the end it'll probably be them and the management who get us relegated.

But we seriously need to understand the years of decline, the reason we are where we are is because we are run by absolute clowns.

So if we do get stuffed against the mancs and we all say "well I said Lampard wasn't good enough" and "we said these players were a joke"....remember how we got to where we are.....point the fingers at those above, make them aware that WE as SUPPORTERS OF EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and get out of OUR CLUB.

10,000 Evertonians on Friday, telling the board that, would feel like a million dissenting voices and get the point across.

Oh yes, I know all the real culprits - and the reckoning they should face. The structural factors are to blame more than Lampard is and that has to change.

But I think we can still do something about this crash if someone gets control of the cock pit and has the skills to pull us out of this nosedive.

PL survival first then deal with that lot later. If possible.

Probably not mate, we'd need a total reset I reckon. A lot of players would need to leave, we'd need patience with a few youngsters, we'd need to be far better in the transfer market....basically all the things we are so bad at, we would need to reset.

Clinging on for dear life (like we currently are) so the parasites in charge get to keep making us look like a shambles is something I simply haven't got the stomach for. So if we go down, we go down but it will lead to change at the top of this club which is what is needed. Only then will.we have a structure where the right management and players are recruited.
I'm not as confident those changes at the top will be forthcoming should the worst happen and we get relegated.

There's the promotion money to chase and a half built stadium that complicates the situation.

I think the Venky's are still at Blackburn?

I don't think it's possible mate. We've gone past that point. End of last season was the end game. They had to reset within 5 minutes of that final whistle blowing at Arsenal and they didn't. They just waited and waited.. and waited and.......waited.

It's too late. The squad is a state, half the players can't cope. Can you imagine Gordon and Iwobi, telling their agents to demand 80-100k a week whilst we are 3rd bottom lol lol lol

The sun is almost set on our PL status barring a Lampard miracle.

All this mate after half a billion pound spent over the last 6 years.

Blackburn/Everton, slight difference in stature imo mate.

We'll see though, you could be right but I'd be very surprised if they aren't hounded out of this club once the inevitable happens.

Five of our next seven are against teams around us.

The club need to do whatever it takes to ensure that we come out of those games in a better position than now. Other wise we are toast.

The question they must ask should be

Is Lampard the man to get the most points out of those fixtures versus a replacement?

I actually have convinced myself typing this that they will sack him after Utd and aim for a new manager bounce.

Whoever that may be.

Fairly sure when I last looked at fixture list it had Arsenal twice and RS away so surprised when you typed it out like that. Don't think Villa can be included in that either. By the time they come to Goodison they'll be 10 + points clear.

Maybe. But look around us. The opposition in the relegation fight are dire too.

Under a new manager and a couple of signings this can be arrested.

I'd like to see this team with strikers and find out whether it's possible.

If we take the drop there'll be no imminent burning off of the owners and board, and we'll in any case struggle for years to get out of the Championship.

As I said to you last night - there's no solace to be had with a relegation. In fact, the real suffering will begin then.
