The gap between us in 19th and Leicester in 13th is 2 points. Still ridiculously tight in that bottom half when you think about it.
Yep the season can still be rescued but only if action is taken immediately because there is no way will it be rescued if Frank is left in charge. His whole Everton career has been a relegation scrap with not a single sign that it can be any better. He is hoping the fans rescue them again like they did last season.

Bottom 3 after 18 games:
21/22: Norwich (R), Newcastle, Burnley (R)
20/21: Sheffield United (R), West Brom (R), Fulham (R)
19/20: Norwich (R), Watford (R), Aston Villa
18/19: Fulham (R), Huddersfield (R), Burnley
17/18: Swansea (R), West Brom (R), Newcastle

Over the last 5 seasons, 11 of the 15 sides that were in the bottom 3 after 18 games got relegated (73%).
Of the 4 teams that weren't in the relegation zone after 18 games and still got relegated, 3 of them were in 17th place.

It might be impossible to get relegated in January but it gives a pretty clear indication of where you're going to finish.
Amazing statistic, we need an improvement immediately, especially with Southampton and West Ham next.....

At this rate Southampton will sack Jones, get a new manager in again & beat us with Lampard still in charge.

Makes absolutely no sense to keep him in now, give him till Southampton & then sack him after that.

Either back him & let him see the thing out, or do it now. All this only shows that, shock horror, they’ve not had a plan at all in regards to a shortlist.

I can see Leicester getting sucked down into the scrap. They’re only 2 points ahead of us and their form is very patchy.
