As others have said: there’ll be no coming from relegation. We’ll be another Luton or Sheffield Wednesday.

All we as blues can do is get behind the players and hope for a miracle.
Is not over yes the board moshiri all need to go, yes i would let lampard go now and bring somebody in. If the club decides to keep him they must back him with players now and he must stick with a formation tgat would be 532 for me. We can turn this around and stay up, but is time for change these clowns can not run and hide and have the media on there side pressure must be put on them

Tonight's relevant games:

S'ton v Forest (hopefully a draw)

Leeds v WHU (hopefully a draw)

Villa v Wolves (hopefully a home win)

...leaving the table like this...

Leeds---------17pts
B'mouth------16pts
Everton-------15pts
WHU----------15pts
Forest---------15pts
Wolves--------13pts
S'ton----------13pts

We need 6/7 in the mix with us. If we ever do get a striker in we'll possibly be still realistically in contention to get out of it.

You want Wolves to win?? Surely a Villa win would be better?

The teams we hoped would drop points are becoming fewer and fewer.

We can rule out Fulham, Brentford, Palace and Villa from the relegation discussion. Soon it will ruling out Leicester and probably Leeds too. And anybody above 10th in the league is already out of the equation.

I am absolutely convinced that Wolves will fly up the league soon, and West Ham will probably start winning again once they sack Moyes. That will take it to 3 from 4 clubs to go down: Everton, Bournemouth, Forest and Southampton.

Yep, they're the 4. I don't see anyone else in the equation but there's normally a surprise somewhere.

How sad that we are back to needing favours from teams above to keep others in the mix with us. What have this board reduced us to?

All the talk of never again after last season was tripe as per usual, but hey, we’ve had good times.

Whoever the manager is - If we sign a couple of attacking players, with a bit of bottle and attitude, and stick to the best tactical shape with the average players we have available, game by game, (should have been 5 at the back last night with Godfrey starting and onana missing - not the 433 Tom Davies inspired disaster we witnessed) we might be able to pull ourselves out of this self made mess.

Fingers crossed.

Lampard has to go for me now because I think finally he underlined he wont play sith a more sterile brand of football against all clubs in this division...our only way out of the mess.

I'm starting to worry that he won't be sacked
I think they'll leave it for now simply because they have no alternative cash wise to recruit players. If they sack Lampard too soon in this window and hire his successor (or even hand it to Baines) then the fans will be clamouring for players. As it is fans are more interested in if/when Lampard goes and who should replace him.

I think we're in that type of desperate situation.

Last year we had cash and moved to replace Benitez quickly when it all went sideways quickly. I dont see that happening this year.
