I see two problems: 1) this weakness was obvious in the summer and they didn't address it; 2) the people that get to decide where to spend the transfer dollars have contributed to the current lack of scoring and there is little evidence they would recognize a difference maker in their price range.
If we would have got kudus. He would have made a massive difference in my opinion so if we can find someone similar in January I will be happy.

Let's see what happens on Saturday before we start losing our minds. Horking up the three points in a six-pointer would be very bad. A draw, by contrast, is not a disaster.

We have to earn more points than three teams. Right now, those look like Bournemouth, Forest and Wolves, with Southampton in the mix. None of them can score either, and they're all a lot leakier. The rest of the bottom half is very bunched up - not abject, but not particularly good.

1) Jelavic
2) Lukaku
We got lukaku when we were a half decent, top half team. And now every striker we have gets compared to him because he was an excellent finisher. We aren't signing a striker of his ilk again for a very very long time, because teams struggling where we are, don't sign 20+ goal a season strikers, hell, bottom half teams rarely have 15 goal a season striker unless they direct all of their play to get them to score.

Curiosity got the better of me and for the first time this season had a peep at the table.
Typical of us, from potentially being on the coat tails of the top six, we find ourselves two points above the drop zone with our next game against the club immediately beneath us.
Lose that and rejoice in us probably being in the bottom three all over the break for the world Cup. Not what I wanted for Christmas that's for sure.

Was just a bad game on sat most of the team was out of form, not saying we will be alit of points away from the drop . But stand by that if the club bring in the right sort of players will help us alot just lack of attqckers is killing the team
