So focus turns to 3pm tomorrow..

Villa v b’mouth
Brentford v Leicester
Saints v spurs
Wolves v leeds

Villa, brentford, spurs, wolves/draw.

Gives us a free hit

That newcastle win puts pressure on spurs.

Like someone said bar villa there isnt another team ‘on the beach’ this season
Leicester will beat Brentford.

A lot of these teams are one man bands: S'ton with Ward-Prowse, Forest with Johnson, Palace with Zaha, West Ham with Bowen etc.

I think our strength is that we have no one player we depend on. That's what Dyche has brought: everyone taking responsibility to get goals and get behind the ball if need be. I think that will see us through.
Agree that is it and havent even been playing a striker in the system. Is a big loss for forest tonight would have been a massive win and maybe got them safe

Newcastle were the better team. We were the better team when we played them IMO.

Forest looked destined to safety about 3 or 4 weeks back but they've run out of players and steam.

I'm pretty certain that S'ton and Forest get relegated.

It would be amazing if it all went our way so it probably won't. Spurs are poor away from home so that one could go either way. Wolves should beat Leeds especially as Neto is now back. All of which means there is no need to panic if we don't get anything at Chelsea.

We wont get much (or anything) from our next three. But that win against Brentford will at least keep us in touch until our "easier" home fixtures come along.

If we manage a win in the next three I would be really confident of staying up. As it stands it's still very much touch and go.

Defo this.

Others slipping up is great, but we only get clear by getting 36 points IMO. To do that we have to carry our form thus far under Dyche into the final 11 games.

If we do anything like that then we'll get there. But getting roughly half the points available in his first 7 games doesn't automatically mean we'll do that again. We need 3 wins and a couple of draws from somewhere. That's tough going. I do think we can get them but I think we might need a 'spectacular' of a win like we had against Arsenal or those we got last season. That'd settle us down nicely.

At this moment I see us more likely surviving then going down. And the manager and team have earned that position in the last 2 months.

Surely Forest can't have run out of players? Didn't they sign about a hundred players last summer?
